Not everyone uses EUR. We are preparing support for more currencies. You will be able to select your preferred currency and the application will convert all prices for you. Additionally, it will enable you to add purchases to your collection in any supported currency. The price will be converted accordingly using historical exchange rates.
In addition to EUR, SpiritRadar.com will support USD, GBP, CZK, PLN, DKK, CHF and 25 more currencies.
It is not ready for general use yet, but we would like to invite you to a closed beta program. If you would like to get a sneak peek of these features, sign up for beta:
The beta program will open on August 22nd. Only an account in the Spirit Radar application is required. We will give you an extended trial to try out these features if you are not a paid subscriber.
We added 31 new rum and 2 506 new whisky bottles, 30 out of them were added at your request.

We focused on search during the last month. We have improved search results sorting and made the search less sensitive about spaces in the query. Additionally, we have implemented basic unit conversions: you can enter both “700 ml” and “0.7 l” and get the same results.
With these changes, finding the bottle you are looking for will be quicker and easier. Please let us know if you have any problems with the search. And if you don’t find a bottle in our application, you can report it, and we will do our best to add it as soon as possible.

You may have a great time in the Caribbean, the same place where rum was discovered in the 1620s. People distilled the first rum after discovering that molasses (the result of refining sugarcane or sugar beets into sugar) can be fermented into alcohol.
Great news! We have increased the number of bottles you can watch. Starting today, you can watch up to 25 bottles with the Advanced subscription and 400 bottles with Premium. Pricing stays the same.
The new limit is available to everyone with Advanced or Premium subscriptions. If you are still on Basic, consider upgrading to unlock the full potential of Spirit Radar.
Watching bottles is a powerful feature. Spirit Radar collects offers and auctions from more than 1 400 sites in one place. When we find a bottle from your watch list in stock, we will send you an e-mail. We check every site multiple times a day, the hottest bottles even every few minutes. Don't miss new releases and good deals!
The previous limit is no longer enough. New releases come every week, and we have added more than 45 000 whisky bottles to our database.
We believe 25 bottles will fit most users, whether you hunt older bottles or wait for the next bottle in your favourite series. Premium users can now watch 400 bottles. These extra bottles are handy when hunting for an entire series or brands.

Do you consider yourself the biggest whisky lover, and do you wish to have a bottomless bottle you can sip forever? Unfortunately, bottomless bottles exist only in fairy tales. But the most giant whisky bottle in the world was produced by the Macallan brand and contains an incredible 311 liters (81 gallons) of this ‘aqua vitae’. Aqua vitae is Latin for ‘water of life’, commonly used as one of the nicknames for whisky as it was mixed with herbs and used as a medicament in the past. The biggest bottle of whisky is the equivalent of 444 standard bottles and was sold in auction for 1,4 million $.
Spirit Radar allows you to get notified when a bottle you are watching becomes available. Sometimes you could get overwhelmed by the notifications, so we have focused on improving this feature.
You can now define the maximum price for each bottle you watch. The limit can be set either relative to the current Market Value, or a fixed price. More expensive offers will be ignored. You can also set if you are interested in auctions, or only store offers.
These settings can be saved for all bottles you watch, so there is no need to do it one by one. Go to the Watched Bottles to set it up!
In addition to settings for individual bottles, you can select which e-mail notifications you are interested in. You might want to get notified right before the auction ends, or maybe disable all auction-related notifications altogether. You will find these options in the Application Settings.

Did you know that rum is the oldest spirit? Its history dates back to 1620’ in the Caribbean, where the first rum was distilled, not for medical purposes (unlike absinth for example), but just for pleasure from drinking.
In addition to fixing a lot of minor bugs, we are working on the notification control system. There are 2 new features. The first is related to the ability to globally disable notification emails in account settings.
The second one is a bit more complex and all the more interesting and that is the ability to set notifications for each bottle individually.

After adding charts to the “My Collection” section, we continued to work on collections. You can now enter decimals as both purchase and shipping prices when adding a new purchase. Overall collection statistics will be rounded for more legibility.
Speaking of collection statistics, we have fixed a minor issue with the “Added in the last 30 days” statistic. It showed all bottles added to your collection, not just in the last 30 days.
Additionally, you can now remove queries from your search history in the application. This means you can remove any mistyped search queries or organize your search history.
We added 3875 new whisky and 91 new rum bottles, 71 out of them were added at your request.
