This is definitely a heavy Caroni, but in a completely different way than the regular one. The nose has typical rubber, fuel, and tar notes, along with alcohol, tobacco, and spices. If left to rest, a touch of sherry emerges. The palate reveals natural sweetness with sherry and wine, followed by rubber, smoky oak, and tobacco. The finish is extremely long and heated, maintaining heavy smoke and tobacco elements. Though some might find it a bit too sweet for a Caroni, it remains quite enjoyable.
