Crafted from molasses and distilled in a pot still, the rum exhibits a light, amber-gold hue. The nose is well-balanced and nuanced, presenting an enticing bouquet of nuts, vanilla, and chocolate-covered raisins, which evolves into aromas of red fruit jelly after aeration. On the palate, the influence of the PX cask is unmistakable, offering flavors of juicy, black plums and wet oak, followed by a subtle bitterness and a dry finish. The PX cask finish perfectly complements the Spanish-style rum, resulting in a harmonious, light, and smooth spirit.
